Muggy Weld – Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing Muggy Weld! We’re committed to providing exceptional products and service. Please read these terms carefully—they govern your purchase and help us ensure clarity, reliability, and mutual trust. We may update these terms at any time, so please refer back here for future orders.
Terms of Sale
By placing an order, you represent and warrant that:
- Any credit or payment information you provide is accurate and complete.
- Your credit card or payment method will honor the charges you incur.
- You agree to pay all amounts for goods or services you order according to the prices published at the time of purchase.
Shipping
We strive to deliver your items efficiently and transparently. Below are our shipping policies:
Service & Timing
- We ship in 20-inch mailing tubes (which won’t fit in mailboxes or postal lockers).
- Once your order is shipped, we’ll send you a tracking number via email. You can track your package using UPS or USPS.
- We aim to ship within 72 hours of order receipt, though occasional delays may occur.
- For expedited needs, we recommend selecting UPS expedited service (Ground Advantage is not a guaranteed service).
Shipping Risk & Special Instructions
Deliveries to your front porch or mailbox carry inherent risks. If you prefer extra security, request one of the following services before shipment:
- Signature Required (free)
- Adult Signature Required (for a specific person — $6)
- Hold at Post Office (free)
If you don’t request these, you accept delivery risk and are responsible for claims with USPS for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.
Delays & Carrier Responsibility
- Once your package is in the hands of USPS or UPS, you should contact them directly for status updates or complaints.
- We package, label, scan, and hand off your package, fulfilling our role. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier.
- USPS’s Ground Advantage service often takes 2–3 weeks; priority mail may take up to 15 days.
- For late deliveries, please do not call our order line—contact the carrier using tracking information.
Lost or Damaged Items
- Inspect your package immediately upon arrival. If anything is missing, notify us by email within 24 hours so we can assist.
- If the entire order is lost and doesn’t arrive within 15 days, contact us to initiate a missing mail search.
- USPS requires 15 days before claims can be filed. We’ll wait up to 30 days (or 60 days for international shipments) before issuing refunds or replacements.
- If a box arrives empty, we will compare outgoing weight receipts and supply documentation for your claim.
- Once the package is scanned as delivered by the carrier, Muggy Weld is no longer financially responsible for losses or damage during or after transit.
Address Errors & Fees
- UPS imposes a $22 fee for incorrect or incomplete addresses or address changes. Double-check your details and notify us immediately if you need adjustments.
Expedited Orders & Cancellations
- Orders for Overnight, 2nd Day, or 3-Day Select submitted by 12:00 PM PST (Monday–Friday) ship same day. Orders after that time ship the next business day.
- Muggy Weld cannot be held responsible for delays by UPS or USPS when using expedited shipping.
- Once an order has been packaged and labeled, it cannot be canceled.
International Orders, Duties, Tariffs, and Returns
- Import duties, taxes, and brokerage charges are not included in our prices or shipping costs. Buyers are fully responsible for these additional costs.
- International sales are final—no refunds, returns, or cancellations, including for unpaid duties or refused packages.
- If a package is refused and returned, it will be treated as abandoned and will not be refunded.
Receipts, Returns & Refunds
Receipts & Confirmation
- We email order receipts and shipping confirmation (with tracking) to your specified address. We do not provide duplicate copies or packing slips.
Returns & Refunds
- You may return unused, unopened products (in new condition) within 30 days of receipt.
- The buyer is responsible for all return and reshipment shipping costs.
- A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns.
- Only products bought directly from MuggyWeld.com qualify for returns or exchanges.
- To initiate a return, email us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) within 30 days. You must postmark the return within 5 days of receiving the RMA.
- The RMA number should appear on the outside of the package; a copy of the RMA email should be inside.
- We do not accept returns of used items under any circumstances. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and may be disposed of without refund.
- If your package is marked “return to sender” or “refused,” it will be handled like a standard return: purchase price minus original shipping, return shipping, and the 20% restocking fee.
Liability & Warranty
We’re proud of our products and back them with confidence, but it’s important to manage expectations:
- Muggy Weld LLC is not liable for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage arising from your use of our site, products, or services, or from any errors, omissions, interruptions, or content on our site.
- By offering welding alloys, we do not guarantee every repair need will be met. We make no representations that welding is risk-free. You accept all responsibility in using our materials.
- We also don’t promise that purchasing our products substitutes for welding skill or experience. Results vary with technique and practice. Please follow AWS safety guidelines when using our products. (See: aws.org)
Privacy
