SHIPPING:

COVID-19 UPDATE:  UPS, USPS and FedEx are not honoring service guarantees at this time.   

We are still in full production and shipping orders Monday through Saturday.

While most Priority packages arrive within 5 or 6 days, some UPS next day air packages have taken 5 days, and some Priority packages have taken 3 weeks to a month.   These delays are due to the overwhelming volume of goods being shipped directly to consumers at this time and the lack of personnel to handle the influx of shipments.  Please be patient while your package makes its way from our office to your delivery address–so far we’ve only had one package actually lost. We cannot file a claim at USPS until 15 days have passed–USPS considers 15 days “on time” when they’re not dealing with a global pandemic so they’re doing the best they can right now.

Priority Mail is not a guaranteed service and if you need your package to arrive by a certain date, your best bet is to choose UPS expedited (although again, they are not honoring service guarantees so it may not arrive on time)

If you’re thinking “So much for paying for Priority, my package is late” try to consider what USPS employees are dealing with right now.  We get emails and calls all day every day, rude people screaming because their packages are late and they feel entitled to yell at someone, I cannot imagine the hell that is the postal worker’s job in 2020.

If your package is running late, PLEASE DO NOT CALL OUR ORDER LINE TO INQUIRE ABOUT YOUR PACKAGE, please contact USPS directly and then send us an email so we can file a claim on your behalf.  Once we’ve filed a claim, we will wait for USPS to investigate and locate the package.  This process may take up to 30 days and we cannot refund or reship packages until 30 days from the date of original shipment to allow USPS ample time to locate and deliver the original package.

Note:  reshipping packages has not resulted in faster delivery.  Reshipping the package puts another package into an already overloaded system, so eventually the first package gets delivered and a month later the second one is delivered.  Then the second shipment has to be returned, opened, inspected and repackaged.

We ship all packages USPS Priority Mail unless UPS is requested.  A tracking number will be sent to your email at the time of shipment–please keep this email, as you will need it to track your package at UPS.com or USPS.com.  We aim to ship orders within 72 hours of receipt of order, however, we occasionally experience delays.  If you need a guaranteed delivery date, please order expedited shipping.   Signature may be required, please track your package for details.

Our products are shipped in 24″ long brown mailing tubes and will not fit in mailboxes or postal lockers.   

Please be aware, Muggy Weld employees do not personally deliver your packages.   We package and label your order, drive to USPS or UPS, stand in line and have each package individually scanned to ensure they are trackable in the carrier’s system.  At that point, the package is in the hands of the carrier and all questions and liability regarding said shipment must be directed to the carrier who possesses the package.  We, like our customers, have no access to UPS or USPS internal information. Muggy Weld is not financially responsible for delays caused by UPS or USPS–delays do happen, especially during the holiday season, and we cannot reship or refund orders due to shipping delays (we will refund UPS shipping if UPS issues a refund). Please contact USPS or UPS directly with complaints about their service.

IF YOU DO NOT REQUEST THESE SERVICES PRIOR TO SHIPPING, YOU AGREE TO TAKE ON THE RISK FOR DELIVERY OF SAID SHIPMENT AND TO FILE CLAIMS WITH USPS DIRECTLY FOR LOST OR STOLEN DELIVERIES. We are happy to ask our representative to investigate/expedite claims, however, buyer is bound by UPS or USPS’s claims decision.  Muggy Weld is not liable for lost or stolen packages once they show as delivered.   

IF SIGNATURE IS REQUESTED BUT NOT “ADULT SIGNATURE” FOR $6, ANY SIGNATURE WILL BE CONSIDERED PROOF OF DELIVERY, AND BUYER WILL NEED TO CONTACT USPS DIRECTLY WITH QUESTIONS OR COMPLAINTS.   Our postal representative can track the GPS point of the signature and determine the exact point of delivery, so please contact us after you’ve filed a claim so we can request an expedited investigation.

 

FREE SHIPPING:

Free shipping is offered for US orders only, and will be fulfilled using USPS Priority Mail.  Expedited shipping is not eligible for free shipping.

 

SALES/COUPONS:

Sale prices are valid on MuggyWeld.com only (no telephone orders).
Sale prices are not valid with any other offer or coupon.   No limits on quantity–order as many sale kits as you like.

 

INCOMPLETE ADDRESS/ADDRESS CHANGE FEES:

UPS CHARGES A $16 FEE FOR INCOMPLETE OR INCORRECT ADDRESSES, OR ADDRESS CHANGES– Please double check your receipt and email any address changes, including apartment or unit number, immediately, to avoid additional UPS charges.

 

EXPEDITED ORDERS:

Overnight, 2nd Day Air, and 3 Day Select orders received by 12:00 pm PST Monday-Friday will be shipped the same day.  Orders received after 12:00 pm PST will ship the next business day. Muggy Weld is not financially responsible for delays caused by UPS-–delays do happen, especially during the holiday season, and we cannot reship or refund orders due to shipping delays (we will refund UPS shipping if UPS issues a refund). Please contact UPS directly with complaints about their service.

 

INTERNATIONAL TARIFFS/FEES:

Import duties, taxes, and brokerage charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. Buyer is responsible for all tariffs or fees incurred.  Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

 

International shipments are not eligible for refund/return (this includes packages in which the buyer refuses to pay the import duties/taxes and/or brokerage fees)  UPS charges between $100-$300 return shipping, so if you refuse your package for any reason, it will be treated as abandoned at your country’s customs office, and will not be eligible for refund.

 

RECEIPTS/PACKING SLIPS:

Email receipts & shipping confirmation with tracking number are sent to the email you’ve provided with your order.  We do not ship duplicate receipt copies or packing slips.

 

WHERE TO FIND YOUR FLUX:

Once your package has arrived, please note that we place all fluxes in a protective bubble wrap envelope, stuffed tightly into the end of the mailing tube.  If you open your tube and don’t find the flux, please open the end with the yellow sticker with red lettering that reads “Open this end for flux”

 

DAMAGE DURING SHIPMENT:

Please inspect package immediately upon receipt–if a flux or anything else is missing from your package, or anything is damaged, you must email us within 72 hours  of delivery of your package to receive a free replacement.

 

RETURNS/REFUNDS:

Refunds accepted for unused, unopened, new-condition product within 14 days of receipt (all shipping costs, including return shipment or reshipment for any reason, to be paid by customer, plus a 20% restocking  fee on all returns).  Only items purchased directly from MuggyWeld.com are eligible for returns or exchanges at MuggyWeld.com.

Please email for a return merchandise authorization (RMA) within 14 days of receipt of product and postmark your return within 5 days of receipt of RMA.  Returns must have the RMA clearly marked on the outside of the packaging and the RMA email on the inside of the packaging to be eligible for refund.  We do not accept returns for used product, under any circumstances.  Unauthorized returns are not accepted and will be disposed of without refund.

These terms apply to both internet and telephone orders.  We do not provide RMAs via telephone, an email is required.

 

LIABILITY:

Muggy Weld LLC shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage of any kind resulting in any way from (a) your use of this Site, (b) any services or products obtained from this Site, (c) any errors in or omissions from this Site, (d) the unavailability or interruption of this Site or any features thereof, (e) any content contained on this Site.
