Joining Steel to Aluminum

Occasionally an application arises where it is necessary to join aluminum to steel. Most welders will tell you this can't be done, because they haven't used our Super Alloy 1 solder.

When making up a hose assembly, it is sometimes difficult to find the desired aluminum fitting to weld to the aluminum hose because hoses are many different sizes and it's nearly impossible to keep every size stocked.

Using Super Alloy 1 gives shops another option: using steel (or any other metal) fittings. This saves the shop and the customer time and money not waiting for an aluminum part.

The final result is a perfect color match that is 20,000 psi.
