This hydraulic hose unit would cost over $300 to replace -- IF you could even find the part. John at Mobile Hose & Spray Systems made the repair quickly and easily with our SSF-6 Silver Solder.




The first weld on the hydraulic hose is steel to steel, with an oxy-acetylene torch. It is also possible to make this repair with a propane torch.






As you can see the finished weld has no porosity, and the 56% silver content of our silver solder gives the weld incredible strength -- 100,000 psi.
