Copper/Brass/Bronze
Copper brass and bronze are welded and brazed daily in industries such as refrigeration, electronics and plumbing encounter these metals daily--as well as ornamental artists, and MuggyWeld provides two options for joining these metals.
Our Super Alloy 1 can bond all of these metals in any combination, as well as aluminum--at 350o. The low melting temperature of Super Alloy 1 eliminates warpage to copper, brass or bronze, and reduces the risk of melting out other nearby solder joints. Super Alloy 1 will hold up to 20,000 PSI
Our flux coated SSF-6 silver solder flows like no other, is easier to use than fluxless rods, and will bond to more metals at over 70,000 psi. SSF-6 is 56% silver, which is especially useful when high strength is required, or when a very thin high flow is necessary to bond those hard to reach areas. Many of our customers tell us that their workers won't use anything else.
