This aluminum A/C manifold assembly needs to have the hoses replaced. But, the upper tube, as shown, is too close to the lower tube to allow crimping of the hose.
The upper tube is cut near the block to allow crimping of a new hose to the assembly.
Super Alloy 5 will be used to weld new aluminum barbed fittings in place. Replacement hoses will be crimped on and the previously cut tube will be welded back together.
